Sorry there won’t be new posts for the next few days. I’m in the process of integrating this blog with the Star Bamboo web site.
It’s been almost 3 months since we set up the blog hosted on wordpress.com. Took the time to understand the interface, and learn to host our copy of WordPress on our server. That offers far more flexibility and control – I like it!
So bear with us while we get the new blog-site up and running.

Ah, sorry, I’ve realised that last link has moved or changed or something. There’s a plug-in that will give you back all that drag-and-drop sidebar functionality you have when you host on the WP site. Here’s a better link:

hi Marc, the new web site is almost ready. Had some problem transferring the database over, had to clean it up with a text editor first. Apparently, WordPress.com doesn’t do exports very well.
Thanks for the plug-in suggestions, I’m using Google Analytics. Akismet and Widgets now come as standard with the new 2.21 version. If you have your own WP installation, you should consider the upgrade.
The Feedburner plug-in is a great idea, I missed out that one.
